Say the word "wrestling" to anyone, and the name "Hulk Hogan" instantly comes to mind. For nearly three decades, the Hulkster has been the supreme icon in the wrestling world, headlining and selling out shows at stadiums all over the globe, while helping to transform sports entertainment into a billion-dollar industry -- not to mention being idolized by millions of little Hulkamaniacs ages 1 to a 100.

A multi-time former WWE Champion of the world, Hogan has taken on all the greats -- from King Kong Bundy and the Iron Sheik to Triple H and The Rock. In the process he has headlined ten WrestleManias, including WrestleMania III, when 93,173 fans packed the Silverdome in Pontiac, Mich., to see him body slam the 500 lb. Andre the Giant. His fans never fail to rise to their feet whether he's tearing off his shirt, flying from the top rope, dropping his famed big boot and leg drop on an opposing wrestler, or engaging in a post-match posing ritual, which is second to none!

And that's just inside the ring!

Hogan's resume outside the ring is just as impressive. The only wrestler ever to be featured on the cover of "Sports Illustrated," he has starred in numerous major motion pictures, including "Rocky III" opposite Sylvester Stallone. He is a frequent guest on "The Tonight Show" and "Live with Regis & Kelly" and even starred in his own TV series, "Thunder in Paradise." An accomplished bass player, Hogan spent 10 years as a professional guitarist before breaking into wrestling. His popularity is so great that he even considered running for president in 1996!

In 2005, Hulk Hogan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his long time friend, Sylvester Stallone. But that move hardly pinned him into retirement. The Hulkster starred in the reality series 'Hogan Knows Best,' which debuted in July 2005 as the highest rated show in VH1 history.

"Hogan Knows Best" opens the doors to the Hogan family home and provides a new definition of the "traditional" family. Audiences get an inside glimpse at Linda, Hulk's wife of 22 years who is the rock of the family, their daughter Brooke, who is on her way to becoming America's next biggest pop star while making the journey through adolescence, and Nick, a typical teenage boy whose primary interests are cars and girls.

Terry and Linda first met in Los Angeles at a restaurant in 1983 and for two years had a long distance romance which consisted mostly of long distance phone calls. Terry traveling the world, body slamming wrestlers from city to city, while Linda stayed in California.

After a year of dating, Terry and Linda married in 1984 before moving to Terry's hometown of Tampa, Florida, She traveled with him on the road for five years before giving birth in 1988 to their daughter Brooke. Two year's later came their son Nick.

Despite their hectic lives and celebrity status, Terry and Linda became devoted parents. They took the children everywhere with them. Terry began traveling across the country as the WWF World Champion while Linda was on her own - yet she never let that hold her back. Linda is a mover and a shaker. A great mother, she was always showing and teaching the kids new things.

To see Linda in action at home is like watching a whirlwind. She does more in one day than most people do in a week. Her day starts early with the tender, loving care she gives her menagerie of animals...seven dogs, two cats, numerous birds, turtles, ferrets, and a rooster named Lilly. Then the chaos begins with the endless barrage of phone calls, deliveries, maintenance people, dog groomers, teenagers, and questions from everyone.

Glenn Packard

Dubbed "a dancing entrepreneur" by The New York Times, choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard has worked with some of the biggest acts in entertainment including Pink, Destiny's Child, Missy Elliot, Nelly Furtado, Whitney Houston, Usher and Liza Minelli. He was even honored with an Emmy nomination for his artistic direction on Michael Jackson's 30th Anniversary Celebration at Madison Square Garden.

Glenn grew up in the small town of Clare, Michigan, working on his family's dairy farm. He planned to take over the family business until at 19 years old, his entire world was turned upside down. Glenn was in a devastating tractor accident that broke his back and nearly cost him his right leg. He was hospitalized for a year; infection spread over his body and almost took his life. While lying in the hospital, Glenn promised himself that if God helped him recover, he would do the one thing he always dreamed of doing. He would enroll in dance school.

Glenn took his first dance class at the age of 21. Shortly thereafter, his newly acquired moves and natural vocal talent landed him a coveted spot on manager Lou Pearlman's (Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC) newest boy band phenomenon "twONEty' (21). The group toured Europe, hitting 75 cities in 15 countries. During this time, Glenn was also introduced to another Lou Pearlman star project, Brooke Hogan. The two became fast friends.

Meanwhile, Glenn's dancing career was also flourishing. In addition to choreographing the music videos and stage performances for many of today's top music icons, Glenn's work was featured on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and on HBO. Even Morroco's king, Mohammed VI, requested a performance by Glenn.

He soon partnered with award winning director R3Y GUTI3RR3Z - a legendary figure in the gaming world and popular in music for his edgy rock videos - to launch Tattooed Angels, a company specializing in the production of music videos, commercials, and live staged performances nationwide.

Recently, Glenn added pal Brooke Hogan to Tattooed Angels' impressive roster of superstar talent. Glenn choreographed Brooke's tour and first music video, "Everything to Me".

Through seven years of friendship, the bond between Glenn and Brooke is a tight one. When Brooke made the decision to move back to Miami, she asked Glenn to move with her; he did. Brooke and Glenn now share an apartment together with roommate Ashley and their antics can be seen every week this summer on the hit VH1 reality show, BROOKE KNOWS BEST.

Ashley Menendez

Warm weather and the beach are must-haves for Ashley Menendez, a native Floridian who credits her parents, Denise and Oscar for an incredible and loving upbringing. After high school, Ashley moved to New York to pursue dance and after suffering an injury that put her dancing ambitions on hold, she has returned to Miami to be close to her parents, brother Kevin, and huge extended family

Ashley attended private Catholic school from kindergarten through middle school and it was during these private school days that she met Brooke Hogan. For the past fifteen years Ashley and Brooke have remained close friends and now the two live together, sharing a Miami apartment with roommate Glenn Douglas Packard.

Ashley dreams of one day returning to New York to study fashion advertising and marketing, in hopes of pursuing a career in fashion journalism. Until then, she is soaking up the Miami sun, enjoying the beach, practicing yoga and perfecting her Spanish language skills.

Brooke Hogan

At just 19 years old, Brooke Hogan began carving her own niche in the entertainment industry. As the only daughter of the pro-wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, Brooke grew up in a family familiar with the Hollywood spotlight and the responsibilities of fame.

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Brooke grew up inspired by the music that filled the Hogan home. "Our household was full of the Isley Brothers, Earth Wind & Fire, disco and Teddy Pendergrass," Brooke remembers. "My mother would play Toni Braxton, Sade, Gloria Estefan and Whitney Houston and I absorbed all of it."

When she was 5, Brooke began studying the piano, later going on to take dance lessons, voice lessons, and cheerleading classes and more. "I wasn't raised with a silver spoon," she admits with a laugh. "I was raised to be resourceful and follow through with everything I set out to do, so that's what I did."

At the age of 10, Brooke took fate -- and the Yellow Pages -- into her own hands as she circled phone numbers and began calling local talent agents. Those calls led to a modeling contract for the budding young star. "I kept telling my parents that I wanted to do this and I begged them to help me," she remembers. "So one day, I slammed the phone book down in front of them and said, 'OK, I don't know how to call these people, but I'm ready.' I think they finally realized I was serious."

She began working up to six hours a day. By the time she'd turned 15, Brooke was rapidly developing her skills as a professional singer, musician and entertainer and had landed numerous high-profile gigs including opening slots on both Hilary Duff's and the Backstreet Boys' tours and singing at Radio Disney's "Jingle Jam" seasonal spectacular.

She recorded her first single, "Everything To Me," in 2004. According to SoundScan, "Everything To Me," peaked at #1 twice (9/19/04 & 10/10/04) on the Top Single Sales chart. While the track showcased Brooke's multiple influences -- running the gamut from Stevie Wonder to Pink -- it was Brooke's sparkling vocals, effervescent charm, ingénue appeal and undeniable musicality that drove the song to the top of the charts.

That same year, 2004, VH1 broke records when it premiered "Inside (Out): Hulk Hogan Stage Dad," an hour-long portrait of family life at the Hogan's. The success of that special led to "Hogan Knows Best," a reality series that chronicles the Hogan's adventures. Brooke's rise to superstardom, under the watchful eye of a loving, but strong willed dad, proved one of the most popular storylines on the show, which delivered the highest ratings in VH1 network history, reaching nearly 90 million viewers per episode.

Shortly after the premiere of her VH1 series, Brooke met producer Scott Storch following a performance at a Miami hot spot. Storch signed Brooke as the first artist in his label deal with SoBe Entertainment. Brooke's debut album, Undiscovered, was released in October 2006.

The video for her first single, "About Us" featuring Paul Wall, a dance-flavored hip-hop track, was shot in Los Angeles under the direction of Malcolm Jones and executive produced by Dave Meyers, with choreography by Hi Hat. Both the single and the video for "About Us" did incredibly well on the 90 million-member portal MySpace. The single was streamed over 2,500,000 times and the video made its made its way to #1, being played over 750,000 times. Brooke is currently in the studio working on her next album.

After four successful seasons of VH1's Hogan Knows Best, Brooke is breaking out on her own. Premiering on Sunday, July 13 at 10PM, Brooke Knows Best will follow Brooke and her new roommates Glenn and Ashley on their new adventures living single and solo in Miami. As Brooke will soon find out, growing up definitely has its pros and cons. She is now responsible for managing her own career and paying her own bills while coping with her parents' separation. And despite his own busy schedule including hosting American Gladiators -- Hulk can't help interfering in Brooke's business as she fights to claim her independence.

On prom night, Brooke finds out she's paired with Eddy, a nerdy nervous date who has stars in his eyes.
